Yummy Skin Glowing Facial

Well summer is over and its time to wash away the sun kissed tans and bronze buns!
For some reason, we all want to be a little paler in the winter, even in miami.
I created this DIY easy facial to make skin lighter and give it a natural glow.
It is also an awesome exfoliant. This facial can lighten sunspots, scars, tans, etc.
It can be used for your entire body! The results are amazing and if it drips onto your tongue,
no worries... it's delicious! The ingredients are simple products from you kitchen
so its SUPER easy to make.

1/2 cup of Honey
1/2 cup of Yogurt
3 tablespoons of Brown Sugar
1 squeezed Lime

(don't judge my selfie lol)

I applied the facial for about 20 minutes. I suggests 10-30 minutes is a good amount of time to let it set in. Exfoliate while applying and washing off. After you wash it off, MOISTURIZE! Did you know early wrinkles are brought on quicker to people who don't moisturize enough?! its true! So make sure you got an amazing moisturizer (preferably with SPF) and apply that baby every chance you get!

TIP: Do not go into the sun with facial or at least 2 hours after.
Lime has harsh effects on skin in the sunlight.
I would just avoid the sun for the rest of the day.

I hope you enjoy this mask as much as I did!

Sugar Wax Me Baby!!!

Ladies!!! Get beach body ready without spending a buck by making your very own sugar wax.

So, one day I was bored on youtube and decided to search about waxing from home. Having a baby is a mission to go out and get waxed, or do anything you used to at all.

The Recipe

2 cups white or brown sugar (i like brown)
3/4 cup water
2 tsp lemon juice

I mixed everything together on high heat and let it boiled while I mixed with a chopstick.
After about 15-20 minutes you will see wax start becoming more consistent.
While it starts to look like honey, consistency wise, then pour into a glass cup or container.

You now apply the wax in the opposite direction as the hair growth. BECAREFUL! I burned myself 3 times because I thought it was ready. Remember the skin on our hands are thicker than anywhere else so it doesn't seem as hot as it really is. Test the wax on your arm for temperature. If you can handle it there, you are fine.

After applying the wax, I used one of my baby girl's burp cloths as a strip and applied it to the waxed section. Anything cotton will work, like an old t-shirt. I did about 3 tiny sections before actually removing any strips. When you pull the strip, pull in the same direction as you applied the wax.

For some reason I thought waxing myself would hurt more than getting it done by someone else but it didn't at all. I guess since you are in control you are mentally prepared for what is about to happen, and also the wax is smoother. After waxing, my skin was soft and sweet. I did not have any residue whatsoever, like when I leave the wax place. No need for baby powder either.

Please comment on your experience. I would love to hear how the sugar wax was for you.
